......all of you would charge for this cake? I was asked by a friend yesterday to make this as a surprise for his wife for tomorrow! Real last minute but it was ok...no big deal! Anyway, it's a carved 9x13 chocolate cake. All fondant accents with luster dust here and there. I would appreciate ANY response!! I have to give it to him tomorrow and I just need alittle help before I tell him how much! Thanks so much everyone!!

I don't know how much cake runs in your area but here not very much. I could probably get $35 or $40 for it but I know otheres would get much more. maybe someone else can give you more ideas!! Good luck. It is a cute cake!

A 9x13 gets about 40 servings I believe. So even if you went cheap at $2 per serving that would be $80 then there's the carving, the luster dust, the time..... Is it going to be 1 or 2 layers? That will make a small difference.

This is just one layer! I'll probably charge around $45-50. Trust me, they can afford it!

1 layer has 24 wedding servings... $2.50/serving seems about right (in my area) so $60...
