She challenged me a couple years ago & asked me for a 3D octopus cake, I made it. She loves chickens, I made her a 3D hen on a nest. I've made her a "puffed heart" cake, and I've made her cupcakes with flowers on them. This year I'm stumped! We're taking her to a semi-formal restaurant where I plan to deliver the cake early & have them bring it out as a surprise. I don't just want a sheet cake decorated nicely, I want something at least semi-molded. She is turning 52, and I have 3/5's of her grandchildren (1 twelve yr old & 16mos twins), we will be taking her out with our entire family, my dad & my brother.... don't know if that helps... She's more of a "country girl", so I want thinking maybe something with plaid on it. I am also looking at just "fun" ideas. I made a 3D beehive before & really enjoyed doing that with all the little bees on it. I just can't find "IT"... "THE ONE"... so any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you! =) (cake is for this Thursday, I need to bake tomorrow!)

Here are a couple of cakes by Cakesunleashed that I think are really cute. Maybe you could get some ideas from them I know one says baby shower but maybe you could use the general idea:
