Will MMF decorations (flowers) hold up on a buttercream iced cake? I am trying to make everything edible and am struggling with my limited knowledge.

Thanks so much,

Vonda

Yes, I have done it several times. What type of decorations will you have? If they are cutouts and will be stuck to the cake, you can just paint a little water on the back with a brush and the'll stick right on.

April,

Thanks for your response. I'm thinking of cut outs since I'm still learning how to make flowers. Do I need to let the cut outs dry at all or can I place them on right after cutting?

Thanks so much for your help,

Vonda

Either way. For time's sake, I usually just put them right on. If you wait a few minutes they'll probably be easier to handle.
