Is it better to purchase supplies wholesale? I would like to support the CC site but can I afford to purchase retail if I should be buying wholesale?

For example no one in the two states I live in or near offer satin ice fondant. And lets face it wilton is just so BAD! I dont want to keep buckets of it sitting around. I want to be able to go get it when I need it. Waiting for days to recieve an order is just not going to work

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do here?
