Im only 10 years old and I love to bake, how long do I bake a 12 in. round cake?

Hi cupcakeprincess986, is mom around? I wouldn't turn on the oven unless ya got an adult around. If Dad or Mom is around then preheat your oven to 350 degrees and wait about ten minutes for it to to get good and hot. Then bake the cake for about 30 - 35 minutes. You can tell it is done is by sticking a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
