Storing Cake With Chocolate Transfer ?

I am making a 10" birthday cake iced with buttercream with added chocolate transfers - the Blue's Clues characters. I am making it this evening for a friend's nephews party tomorrow.

Usually I store my buttercream iced cakes in sealed cake containers (ya know, the rubbermaid type). But is that the best thing to do with the chocolate transfers?

I know that doing that will make dried fondant decorations all soft again - I didn't know if the moisture from the buttercream would be a problem for the chocolate and make it soft and runny.

Would it be better to store it in a regular cardboard cake box?
