A gal from our church emailed about making a cake for our pastor's wife (for 7/24) - so want it very elegant, like she is. They'd like something different than just a normal sheetcake (which is ok with me, cuz I do a TON of sheet cakes, so something different is nice!) - so was thinking of perhaps something tiered. I did a Mother's Day cake for another pastor (for his wife) and everyone raved over it (the flower bouquet in my pics). Not sure how to incorporate that into a cake that needs to serve about 40 people - as it only served 12.
Anywho - if anyone has any ideas, I'd apprecite it!
BTW, it needs to be buttercream - fondant is has not hit big over here yet!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Maybe you can do the same cluster of flowers on the top tier cascading down to the bottom.. with the same quilted look on the tiers..

I think that would look very elegant. icon_biggrin.gif
