I need to serve 50-60 people with this cake....So I was thinking - motorcycle cake on top of sheet cake. But I'm not sure how many the shaped cake will serve.....and I'm not sure if I need a 1/4 sheet, 1/2 sheet??? What are the guidelines?

Thanks!
Jenn

The motorcycle pan is a one mix pan and measures 15 1/4 x 9 1/2.They say most character pans serve 12.My suggestion is find a picture of a motorcycle and do a color flow or BCT.Then put that on a sheet cake.

I'm considering that....gonna try my hand at BCT for the first time tomorrow and see how it goes. But do you think I'd need a full sheet cake to serve 50-60 ppl??

Wilton's yearbook says a 11x15 serves 50.A 12x18 serves 56.And a 14x22 serves 64.You could bake 2 11x15 but use 1 and 1/2 of the other.Just a suggestion if you don't have the bigger pans.
