I have to teach 13 year olds tomorrow how to make the Wilton rose, they
have been great so far, but I am concerned about the rose, and such.
As a wilton instructor can I have them do the hershey kiss method of
roses (use the kiss as a base). If not do you have any suggestions.
Thanks!

I would go with what you teach as a Wilton Instructor 1st. Then I would suggest if this seems a little difficult or time consuming for them another method. People are doing roses in so many other incredible ways. I've seen this woman on Utube(for safety sake) make roses on a sharpened dowel rod! She was so good at it, that she zipped through 6 roses in like 60 seconds. Everyone however needs a good foundation, so you'll do fine, plus kids learn fast & are hands on. Good luck icon_wink.gif
