anyone have info on finding articles or books that demonstrate making a mosaic pattern cake? Thanks

Margaret Braun's book Cakewalk has a section on mosaic cakes, but it isn't really thorough or full of patterns...Are you looking for how-to's, or just patterns for them? You could probably find something in the section at craft stores where they sell mosaic materials. The mosaics on cakes are usually just made out of fondant pieces, so the principles are the same, it's just made with fondant, not tiles.
