I'm going to attempt to make MMF for the first time tomorrow. I don't have a mixer so i'm going to be doing it by hand. Are there any tips that would help me out?

Don't add all the powdered sugar or it will be too dry and crack. Add 3/4 of it, and go by feel from there.

Most people wouldn't recommend using a mixer anyway. It can do really bad things to it. Whenever I've made it I melt the marshmallows in the microwave and start adding the ps (slowly), in the same bowl. Eventually you can turn it out onto the counter and finish adding some of the ps. But like Kris said, don't add it all!
