I plan on making the Gerbera Daisies with Gumpaste. My question is when do you stack the petals? Do I stack when wet or wait until dry? What do I use for them to "stick"

I stack two layers of large petals when they're still wet, I just use a little water to glue them together. It's easiest to add the center smaller layer or layers when they're wet, too, because wet gumpaste sticks to itself a lot better than if you let it dry out. You can let the larger ones dry if you want to, though, then add the smaller layer and the flower center later.
