Covering Rice Crispy Treats W/ Fondant

do you put a layer of icing on thr krispy treats and then cover it? i know this is probably a stupid question.... but i was unsure about what to do.

Yes, it's best to cover the RKT with BC before applying the fondant. Make sure the RKT is completely smooth or else the bumps will show up in your fondant. You can do this by trimming it flat with a very sharp knife. Nothing ruins the look like bumpy RKT!

I've also used Royal icing to get a flat smooth surface.
