Thanks mommy_of_3_DDs but I have already checked this site for help and was unable to find anything.

Maybe some other CC member has experienced this problem before and can give me some feedback.

Are you sure you have them in the right slots? They have to match up with the way they are set up in the holder for them.

Also, if this one of the ones you have to change the little metal plates on the cartridges, those have to match up exactly as well.

Sorry, my mind is not cooperating with the proper names of the parts.

Hope you get it figured out!

My printer still wont work. I changed the chips from the original cartridges to the edible ones and it still says that the printer does not recognize the cartridges. I dont know what else to do.

All I can think of to do now would be to call Canon and/or wherever you got your cartridges from, see if they can help you.

I'm sorry, I don't know what else to suggest.

I feel your pain. I had the same thing happen with a regular ink printer. I never did figure it out and got another printer as a gift for Christmas. I think they brand new ink cartridges are still sitting in the printer in the basement. Ugh, wasted money.

Thanks veejaytx & Molly2. I will call kopykake and see if someone can help me out.

Other than that Im ready to throw the printer against the wall. But its not even worth putting a whole in the wall.

I will post an update soon.

Yeah, I agree with you MichelleM77. It was a huge wast of money.
