I am making the pecan pie cake from this site. I am making it for a cake auction for school so I want it to be really really good. I am going to do a caramel filling. I can't figure out what icing to use. I saw a praline buttercream here and wonder if that would be good. Cake has chopped pecans and the praline buttercream does as well. Too much pecans?? Is there another icing that would be good. I don't like pecan pie so I have no idea what would work.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
