Hi all, I would love to make the NFSC recipe but I would like to know how to convert the recipe to UK version. Can anyone help me please?

I have tried the recipe and it didn't turn out too well. I'm not sure if it's our ingredients (the protein content in the flour or water content in the butter) I used both conversion to weights and cups i purchased in the US.
