I would love to learn how to make ribbon roses and leaves. If anyone is willing to explain or know of a turitoial somewhere I would greatly appreciate it. Sometimes I don't have time for the life-like ones I usually make. I have seen some really whimsy looking ones here on CC. I just love the look. Thank you for any help on the subject.
They really are easy.... I'll try to explain. I take a pc. of fondant and put thru pasta machine to the desired thickness. I cut a strip with my multi-ribbon cutter. Fold the strip in half but don't put pressure on the crease, make it a loose crease. then start rolling up up around and around (you pick it up to do this.) I kind of pinch it at the base every few turns, this will give you a more ribbony look. You can twist as large as you want it, creased side should be up on the rose. You then can trim off the base a bit if it's to long. I just cut out leaves with a leaf cutter and give them a pinch at the base.
Hope this helps!

If you have one of the small boxes of white Wilton fondant, the directions and picture are on the back of the box.
Thank you all so very much. Can't wait to try them. Also there are some that look poofy as does the leaves. Does anyone know that way. Thank you all again.
