I met with a bride last night and she is looking into a non-traditional wedding cake.

She was telling me that while she lived in NJ she used to go to an italian bakery and order a chocolate cake with strawberry and banana filling.

We are located in the state of FL and she haven't found anybody around here that makes it. She wants me to at least give a try to find this recipe or something close to it for her wedding. If not... no problem... she will go for the cake that I do.

Can anyone help me with this recipe??? I will gladly appreciated.

I've hunted around, but had no luck.
The recipes I have found are just strawberry filling with real bananas sliced into them. You could get a sleeve of strawberry filling and add bananas.
That's basically all I'm finding... Sorry.

I would incorporate bananas into a strawberry filling recipe and let her taste it to see if it comes close to the taste she is looking for.
