This has been a really crazy week!!!
I am making 40 cupcakes and a cake for a birthday on Sunday at 3 pm. For some reason my brain thought today was Saturday (it's Friday) and I made the 40 cupcakes at 5 p.m. ARGH!!!

I used a marshmallow fondant recipe with crisco and it was recommended that it NOT be refrigerated. They are frosted in a buttercream icing without butter and it supposed to be good at room temp.

Will they be good, really good still or did I make them to soon? Should I leave them at room temp or refrigerate them and risk the water droplets on the fondant stars?

HELP HELP!!!

As long as all the exposed cake is covered in fondant, they should be OK.

The cupcakes are frosted with buttercream and then topped with a fondant star. There is exposed cake and icing.

Do I need to make new ones?
