Any suggestions for a good white cake/cupcake recipe? I've tried the Swiss White Chocolate recipe for a regular cake, but think it's a little too dense. I plan on filling the cupcakes with strawberry mascarpone cheese, so I want something a little lighter.

I'm also looking for a good white frosting. Something not too sweet and on the fluffy side...but that will hold up since I'll be serving them at a party.

I use the magnolia vanilla cupcake recipe. You just need to be sure to cream the butter and sugar really well before adding the eggs in.

Yum yum yum. I just made those last night. I think WASC makes good cupcakes. The ones I made last night were super fluffy and moist and I just tossed in a pudding mix with a cake mix with some flavoring.

I opted not to ice mine but to do fondant covered but if I did I was thinking white chocolate SMBC would be amazing. Or a white chocolate ganache. yum yum.
