Sorry I'm asking rookie questions...but how long can you store your buttercream in the fridge for and how should you store it?? I also read somewhere that MMF can be frozen for up to a year... icon_eek.gif is that true????

Please let me know... icon_smile.gif

It really depends on what type of BC you make. All shortening will probably last till the end of time, all butter BC will not last as long as butter goes rancid, egg white based BC even less than all butter and I would imagine cream cheese BC is the same.

If you have it covered I would say a week. If it would be longer than that freeze it. The fat will pick up odors fast. Make sure it's well sealed.
