I just got an order for a IPod cake for a girl's 9th Birthday Party! I looked at all the IPod cakes in the gallery and loved them! I was wondering how those people did all the stuff. Frosting? or Fondant? How did they do all the writing gel? icing? markers? Please Help!
Should I Do a Sheet Cake Or Round Cake w/ an IPod on top?

-Thanks

All of my cakes are either fondant or Rich's Bettercreme. The IPod cake I made is of Bettercreme. It's a 12x18. For the circle I had my dad hold an 8" pan slightly above the cake while I traced the circle onto the cake. I then carefully scrapped away the frosting and then filled it in w/the grey frosting. It' really not that hard. I did the same technique for the square.

Oh, and for the writing I just used regular bettercreme.
