Hello,

I am doing my first stacked/fondant cake tonight and was wondering if I could put colored buttercream under my fondant. I have some left over from the cupcakes I made yesterday and did not want it to go to waste. The BC is orange-ish and I was planning on making the fondant blue.

Any help would be great!!

if the blue is darker than the orange it would be ok. if not then you would have to roll your fondant thicker so that the bc doesn't show through.
