Doubling Cake Batter Question

i use the enhanced cake formula, for my cakes and love it. but for a 16 by 3 inch cake- can/should i double the batter or should i do a few layers?

Not sure...i've never heard of a 16 x 3" cake can? Is it a cylinder?

And what is the enhanced cake formula? What are you trying to bake?

its not a cake can... its a cake hyphen can she do it icon_smile.gif

I would definitely do two or three layers to make that. Its so big, the outsides will be dry by the time the center is done.
