I got a new brand of fondant as a door prize at a cake show. It tastes great but it is greasy feeling and doesn't dry well. I need to make some flowers for a wedding cake and would like to use this since the flavor is buttercream and so is the icing. What can I add to the fondant to make it dry well. I think I might add some powdered sugar to decrease the greasy feel. What do you think? Any and all ideas appreciated. icon_smile.gif

try gumtex or tylose powder... it makes the fondant rubbery and doesnt affect the taste either... it also makes fondant dry faster. icon_smile.gif
