Could someone tell me how they make tortilla chips. I would like to know how they make them look so real with the texture and colors. One cake I looked at said in her description how easy they were but it escapes me. I would really appreciate any help. I have been decorating for 30 years but haven't been using fondant that much. Thanks for the help.

When I made my movie cake, I used a tiny bit of oreo cookie crumbs mixed into the fondant. I also learned that I had to roll them pretty thin. My first attempts looked more like chocolate chip cookies than tortilla chips. icon_lol.gif

I found these directions from Flikr belonging to Amanda's cakes...These are her directions "I use a fine grater and hard dark chocolate sugarpaste. I grated the sugarpaste and then I pressed my rolled out yellow sugarpaste onto the bits of dark chocolate fondant. Added texture then dusted it all with granulated sugar. "

I hope this helps.
