I made 2 cakes this week for Fathers day and used the BIG bucket tub of Wilton Buttercream. I did not notice until I decorated the cake and cut it at the Lunch that the buttercream tasted wierd, like metally (if thats even a word). But not right at all. Has anyone had this problem with it before? I've used it many times before and it's never tasted this way.

do you have the original tub, if you do, contact wilton tell them something was off with it. You will at least need the info off the bucket, the code number, where and when you bought it.

You mean to tell me you didn't taste one single lick of frosting while decorating?? You're my hero. icon_wink.gif

I'd definitely call Wilton with the codes from the tub.

Did anyone eating the cake notice?? icon_surprised.gif
