What's your best ideas for using a cutter or mold for a purpose that is different than what was intended? Like using an oval cutter to make not only an egg but lady bugs, etc. Or a heart cutter to make flower petals? Share your wonderful creativity!!!

Not sure if this qualifies, but so far I've used the mini egg pan by wilton to make ladybugs, spiders, spiderman faces, and penguins..never have used it to make eggs though LOL I've used hearts to make calalilly flowers too.

This idea has been around for a while, but I'll add it...I use a scallop-edged biscuit cutter to make the edge of fondant "eyelet" and then punch eyelet holes with #3, 5, 10 tips (I use the couplers to make them easier to handle).

Thanks for the heart-calla lily idea! Neat!

the only thing I can think of is using a 5 point star to make a person.

2 legs, 2 arms, 1 head.....5 points on the start. Does this make since. I don't have a picture but I think the Wilton site has an example of one.
