Help!!!! I am doing an anniversary cake with gum paste roses, so I took a sample of a rose to the lady that ordered the cake. She said that thats what she wanted, but would also like some bc roses because people like to eat them.
I'm having a hard time visualizing these on the cake together.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Jo

I'm not crazy about that look. I have done a mix of both types, but they were not the same type of flowers. I would stick to you artistic integrity and have her choose. After all, people will judge you by the cake they see not the fact you made what the customer ordered.

Just my thoughts,

could you decorate with GP and then giver her a handful of BC roses on the side for garnishing each piece once it's plated.
