Was wondering what colors i'd use for this? I was going to try and make the MMF. It's for my Graduation cakes. I was going to make the Grad Cap Maroon and the tassle Maroon/Silver. And then BC in maroon and silver for decor/and borders etc.... THANKS! Y'all are da bomb.

There are a couple of recent threads on coloring bc and fondant to maroon in the CC archives.

And as far as silver fondant, you can't just make it, it turns out gray. You must paint the fondant with silver dust.

I just used straight Americolor maroon in my fondant and bc.. it worked wonderfully... icon_smile.gif

Silver luster dust (nu silver) to paint the fondant .. mixed with some high grain alcohol (everclear, vanilla extract... just examples)

Here is a cake I did with JUST using the Americolor maroon... icon_smile.gif

adjust it to lighter or darker as you need..
