I have my first big wedding cake next weekend, so I did a practice of one of the tiers today. It's a round cake covered in fondant with swirls and dots. The design was easy enough, but about 2 hours after I finished it I noticed a bubble on the top. I pushed on it and sure enough it was literally an air pocket between the cake and the fondant. What did I do wrong? icon_cry.gif
Thanks!

That just happens sometimes. Take a pin and pop it. Try to insert is at an angle to leave as small a hole as possible. Then just smooth it down.
