Additional Ingredients To Box Cake Mixes?

What are some additional ingredients that may be added to boxed cake mixes (Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines) that would make the cakes rise more and create a sturdier crust?

I always add a box of pudding to mine.......if I want a more dense cake (like for carving) I add a little bit less oil like half as much as normal...the pudding mix still keeps it moist but the less oil makes it nicer for carving and sturdier.
