What My 10 Year Old Son Picked Out For His Teacher...

So I brought my DS to pick up a gift for his teacher for end of year. He said she loves shoes so we went to get her a gift cert to DSW.
Walking through the store he sees these and HAS to get them for her. She will LOVE them! They are just her STYLE! he says.
I figure what the heck, she can always exchange them, if we gave her a gift card she'd have to go to the store anyway and this was more fun to open.
The best part is when she opened them and said that she had them in her hands and had almost bought them and her friend talked her out of it saying they were to impulsive and frivolous! She did love them, she asked him if he was her long lost little brother and said he could read her like a book. It really was too darn funny!
That's my boy! What a piece of work!
He is going to make someone very happy some day. Not many men can buy gifts. I'm jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would imagine the other teachers are jealous right about now! AND, fighting to get your child in their class next year!
Aww bless him! That's so thoughtful. You have a very special boy there.
I bet the other teachers are green...

woah, awesome kid, i wish he were a little older!! gone are the days of giving a teacher an apple, i wouldve become a teacher if i knew it came with perks like that!
Okay-I have to ask-how in the world did you know what size shoes she wears?
And thank goodness she really LOVES shoes. Just in case you guys didn't know "shoe shopping" is often code among teachers for going out for a drink and snacks after school. In one of the schools I worked in, on Fridays someone would come up to you and say-"Do you want to go shoe shopping after work?" and we would get a little group together to enjoy some social time before the weekend.
