I am trying to make a 3-d frog prince cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. What is your suggestions for making a fondant frog to sit on a lilly pad?

Check out the cake I did some years ago with a frog wedding. The frogs are gumpaste (my hands are too warm for making fondant critters). I got the idea of how to make them from a sculpty clay book. The frogs don't look the ones in the book, but it gave me the basic idea of how to start. These books can be found in the sculpty clay section of Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

The lily pad was just a piece of fondant rolled sort of thin, cut into a circle, then split and colored to look like a lily pad.
