Sweetex Shelf Life?

About how long does Sweetex or any hi ratio shortening keep? Just curious before I buy a big batch of it.

It has a indefinite shelf live. It last a very long time.

I think I read that you can freeze it. I used some out of the freezer last week and it was fine. Had been there for about 2 months.
