We are planning a vacation to Myrtle Beach and was wondering where a good place to stay is and what we should do there. We were there 10 years ago and stayed at the Caravelle. It is on the North side and we enjoyed it because it was quiet. We have kids now and want to get the most for our money. I would love to know what you have done if you went there.

A good place to stay is in Cherry Grove or North Myrtle Beach. It's not as crowded and very family friendly. We used to go to Cherry Grove every summer when I was growing up.

When we go, we always stay in North Myrtle. We have two kids, and we like that the North side is more family oriented.
