I wanted to make cookies & cream cupcakes (posted on bake and destroy) & while I was in the city I picked up golden cake mix by mistake (should have been a plain white mix). I made this recipe 3 wks ago and LOVED them...do you think it will make a huge difference if I use the golden mix or should I drive back into the city for white??
Are they for someone who would know the difference? As far as taste goes...I think it would be negligible.
Thanks for the reply...I chose to make the cuppies w/ the golden mix b/c I didn't want to waste my time & gas making another 1/2 hr trip to the city. The cupcakes are for my cousin's rehearsal dinner tonight & I don't think that they will no the difference (as long as I bring something!). I tried them and they are good but not the same as my first ones w/ white cake mix
