Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I could not find a recipe on how to make the poured sugar that one would use to make decorative pieces with...
The previous posts that I was able to come across that sounded like they might have this answer were lost...

Anyone have a recipe?

Thanks!

If you search poured sugar
limit all terms
limit titles only
limit to the candy making & pulled sugar forum

you will find many threads about sugar. Basically, it requires boiling sugar. The hot sugar is very dangerous, so take precautions.

Here is a very easy recipe

1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
Stir and cover bowl with plastic wrap,
Place in microwave on high for 3 minutes, 10 seconds.
Remove from oven, carefully remove plastic wrap, stir to release steam, at this point you may add flavor oils and/or coloring.
Recover and return to microwave oven for 3 minutes longer.
Remove from oven, gently remove plastic wrap. Stir to release steam again.

Allow all the bubbles to settle and pour.

Remember, it will be hot and can burn. Keep a bowl of cold water with ice cubes handy in case the hot syrup touches your skin.
