Ok, this weekend is my husband and my mother's bdays.

I will make a double tiered cake, covered with fondant.

I want something neutral, because it is for both a man and a woman.
And on top of that, it will be my first one, so it must not be too complicated...

I have just no ideas on the coulours,...

Please help...

Some neutral colors could be pale blue (my mom's favorite color is actually blue), yellow, green...

Think about baby showers, maybe, where no one knows the sex of the baby.

Good luck!!!

You could use some light browns, yellows and oranges. Not very summer in color but neutral yet still mature colors.

Chocolate brown with accents in pale blue and light pink. Or chocolate brown with sage green.

baking girl hit it right on with the chocolate and sage green!!! I realize that the blue and chocolate thing is really big right now....but traditionally blue is know for boys and pink for girls.....so I would go with the sage and chocolate as it would be suitable for both........
