I want to try the WASC cake, I don't have white cake on hand, will yellow cake mix work just as well, or is it best to use the white? THANKS

You can use any flavor cake mix. Keep in mind if you use yellow or chocolate use 3 whole eggs per box (not 4 egg whites).

You can use any kind of cake mix with WASC. It's an extender for pre made cakes mixes so if you use a yellow cake mix, it will have the tasted of yellow cake mix. I've done it with yellow and it was great!

I read on a post here on CC, you can use yellow mix, just add 6 whole eggs instead of 8 whites and 3 tsp. of vanilla. It also stated do not use a mix that calls for butter. Hope this helps.

Thanks for answering my question. I think I will go get it in the oven.
