A friend of ours who was being sued was just found not guilty yesterday. We will all be getting together tomorrow, and I would like to have a cake for him. I've already made the cake (I was actually testing a new recipe and then decided to make something for him). It's a double layer 8-inch round. I don't have that much to work with, but any ideas would be appreciated.

How about putting a small " manila file folder" on top stamped with the words not guilty and also add the judges wooden hammer that he pounds when the case is closed. The folder could be fondant or paper, just put wax paper underneath if its paper....maybe you even can cut up a folder you have into a mini folder.

Also you can create the judges hammer from choc fondant.
