My mom has to have an ultrasound today. They found that one of her ovaries was enlarged during her annual exam, and she had some bloodwork on Thurs and is having an ultrasound today to find out if it's cancer. She has an appointment with the doctor right after the ultrasound to get the results.

She didn't tell any of us, didn't want to worry us, but yesterday when she came over she told me because she was scared and wanted some moral support. She's 56.

We'll find out around noon today if it's something serious. Please keep her in your thoughts.

I will certainly keep her in my prayers, I hope all turns out ok.
