A friend would like me to make some Noah's Ark cupcakes. 2 animals of every kind. She would like to use the theme for a baby shower for a friend who is having twins. I could really use your ideas. (No sculpted fondant anilmals needed-too time consuming). Thanks so much I know there are a lot of cute ones out there!!!

Look toward the end of the big cupcake thread, BCJean posted adorable bears piped from buttercream and covered w/ choc., you may be able to adapt to other animals.

Modern-baking.com has some cute ideas under their cake decorating tab. Just heads mostly maybe you could use bodies from the wilton site the have some instructions on piping figures with buttercream.

just thought of aine2's cupcake toppers, but those were just the heads, and they were flat, not 3d. she has those on youtube if you're interested.

there are some really cute animal cupcake ideas in the book "Hello Cupcake."

all the animals are cut out of fondant, that could work for a large quantity for Noah's ark.
