This has probably been discussed to death. Which is better Choco Pan or Satin Ice? Choco Pan seems to be more expensive. Is it worth the price?
Really special cake so I want it to be great.

Chocopan is rolled out much thinner than reg fondant, so I find it the same price point as Satin Ice.

I dislike the taste of all fondants, but Choco-pan seems almost palatable⦠I also find it easier to work with than SatinIce. So my vote is Choco-pan.

I'm no expert, but it really depends on what your going to use it for. Choco-pan isn't something to use for flowers even when you mix it with Gumpaste....not to mention it tears easier. Although it does taste a little better than Satin Ice. I have both and I will stay with Satin Ice due to cost and the fact that I can use it for everything and the taste difference to me isn't that big of a difference. HTH!
