Just like to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to color fondant black. I don't know if I should airbrush it black or use liquid/gel black to color it. The customer is afraid it will turn peoples mouths black. I'm new at working with fondant. TIA

First make a very dark chocolate fondant and them add black gel coloring.
I do not recommend airbrushing it. I airbrushed a fondant covered cake with red coloring and I will never make it again.

No. It doesn't.
When you add black gel coloring to the chocolate fondant, you are going to think that it's not really the black that you wanted, but if you let it rests, after a few hours you'll notice that it will be darker.
