I have a bc iced cake that I need to put candy melt decorations on. If I use bc will they stay put or do I need to use royal icing or melted candy? The decorations will be on the sides, they aren't real big.

I've attached by just sticking into the icing on the sides before, and never really had a problem, sometimes I add a little dab of buttercream to the back if the icing on the cake has already crusted, or have also just gently pushed into the icing before it has crusted.
