So I need to make red chocolate maple leafs soon. I bought pre-colored red chocolate but it is more of a pink. How can I make it redder? I have red gel icing color but will that work? The only place I can find candy melt color here has it in a box of different colors and charges a rediculous amount for it and even then, I am not even sure thats what I need.

You can use powdered colors or any oil base food coloring 'cuz if u use anything that has a water base I'll kill your chcolate When using the oil ones use just a drop or 2 'cuz they do add a lot of color ....good luck
