If anyone uses buttercream on their cookies, can you tell me if they are stackable? I have never seen them where they haven't smashed, but they are convinced their friends cookies are stacked for Christmas. They are completely decorated with little stars. It still won't be my icing of choice, but I'd love to try it. I have extra cookies and icing today and would like to give it a shot to get rid of both.

I dis some NFSC with butter creame and carefrully stacked them. I let them sit out for 24hrs. to get a good crust on them, bag, and put in a box to carry to church.

I went ahead and tried it. Yes, it is stackable, but the wrong move will crush the cookies. I can't imagine traveling with them. The taste is nice, but I don't feel as artistic with the star method. If someone really wanted them, I would make them, but it is not my first choice.
