i just did a baby monkey made out of MMF for this past weekend.. the customer just asked if there was a way to preserve it because they wanted to save it instead of eating it. is there way?? can they freeze it??

Sure, they could freeze it. It would probably do fine just sitting out on display, too, as long as it didn't have any cake crumbs or other kinds of icing stuck to it (because then it might mold). But freezing will preserve it longer.

If you live in a dry place, it should harden and you should be able to just keep it out, but if you have a lot of humidity (like we do here) they won't dry all the way out (even with tylose) and it will mold eventually. They will keep forever in the freezer, but you really can't enjoy it if it's stuck in the freezer. Hope this helps.
