I just saw this in parents magazine & wanted to pass it along. If you have children and are planning on taking a trip with large crowds or if your child has food alergies and you want to make sure that his/her care taker is aware of.

hope this helps someone icon_smile.gif

That's a really good idea.

When my daughter goes on field trips, I write out a card with her name, her school, the fact that she has a fire ant allergy and has an epi-pen for it, and my cell number and my husband's cell number. She keeps it in her pocket, and has it ready to show if she gets lost. The tattoos are a neater idea, though, because a kid can't lose the tattoo.

That is a great idea! I also thought you were going to say there was new trend of permanently tattooing kids. I was pleasantly surprised icon_smile.gif

I saw those...they are cool.

When we go out in a crowd, I use a sharpie and put my cell # on my child's tummy. Her shirt covers it, but she knows it's there if she gets lost.
